HISTORY

Trick-iT Customs was originally started in 1995 as Trick-iT Custom Auto Accessories in my home located about 4 miles outside of Kennewick.  I promoted my business through Giant Nickel ad's and by going to any car related event I could get into.

I lived about 4 miles outside of Kennewick in a somewhat remote area.  My customers came from as far away as Walla Walla looking for parts.  In 1999 I found a retail space located in the old downtown part of Kennewick on Kennewick Av.  I shared this space with a friend in order to be able to afford the rent.

My business quickly outgrew the limited space so I moved to Clearwater Ave, the "Big Time".

After outgrowing that space I moved to the opposite end in the same strip mall into just under 3000 sq ft.

April 1 2004 I closed this retail location due to circumstances beyond my control.

Spring/Summer of 2010 this new location just off the freeway near the Benton City exit will open.
This facility is 2300 sq ft and will have room for retail and fabrication services so that I can handle all of my customers needs.

Community Involvement

I have been fairly active within the community.  I put on car shows for the Chamber and did a few seminars for the local high schools DECA clubs as well as sponsoring many different events including monster truck shows and bull rides.  I participated in building the DARE car soon after I opened my first retail shop.

THE FUTURE!

To copy a song I once heard, with modification of course because my business is about modification after all, "The future's so bright I need tinted windows!!!"

I have chosen to reopen my business based on a need in the community and that even after being closed for 5 years my customers still seek out my services.  I believe by offering a full service shop, except for paint, I will become one of the Pacific Northwest's elite custom shops.  Every moment of my life has lead me to this career and it's time to take it to the next level!
